Veedersburg—Charles Cory, a
former Veedersburg resident, but for the past several years of Akron, Ohio,
died Monday evening according to word received here. While a resident here he
was engaged in the insurance business. A
native of Fountain County, he was the son of David and Amanda Redenbaugh Cory.
He was married to Minnie Beaver who preceded him in death 12 years ago. Two daughters survive: Mrs. Hilda Clark and
Mrs. Jewell Krugg, both of Akron. The
body will arrive in Veedersburg Thursday afternoon and will be taken to the Fishero
Funeral Home. Rites will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the Centennial U. B.
Church with the Rev. Robert Todd officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining
